SPEAKER_00:

Hello, magical human. Welcome back to Madison Mindset the podcast. I am your host, Madison. I am a yoga teacher, a mind and spirituality coach, and a complete lover of all things natural healing and being with the earth. This episode is going to be a beautiful series of affirmations to help you speak with love towards your body. I received a really cool DM from one of the beautiful listeners of the podcast last week. In this beautiful DM, I was sent a reel that was basically teaching people about a new study that was done by Harvard researchers about how we speak to our body. Turns out, which we already knew this, but we're gonna say it again, the researchers said that simple phrases like you are safe and you are healing lowered inflammation in the body. In only two weeks. Okay, so it's they did a beautiful experiment about how we speak to our body, how that changes the chemicals released in the body, and what actually happens. So I've been saying this for a long time. So many people have been saying this for a long time, and there have already been studies that have proven this, but this is another beautiful reminder that what you say to yourself matters. You are creating your reality within your body. So I want to encourage you to speak with love towards your body. After I was sent this DM, I sent so much love back to this listener, and thank you so much for sharing. This is so cool. I went outside and did a beautiful yoga practice, and the whole time I was saying to my body, I love you and thank you. I love you and thank you. Even though I've got, you know, a little bit of hip pain and lower back pain and just kind of just bits of pain going on. Um, all those things happening as they do to so many of us. Even though I was there and I was like, Oh, I just want this yoga to fix this, like whatever it is, I was just speaking with love instead. And you can feel the change in your body. You can just feel it soften, and it's so powerful. So, this episode is going to be a range of beautiful affirmations for you to say to your body. You could create this practice as a meditation. You could sit and repeat the affirmations, you could just be going about your day or doing whatever you're doing, repeating the affirmations. You could turn it into a mirror practice and speak to yourself in the mirror, looking directly into your own eyes. You could write the affirmations down, you could hold your body in a big self-hug and repeat the affirmations right into the heart space. Whatever feels best for you, but I want to encourage you to listen and allow yourself to speak with love toward your body. Because this is such an important episode, I'm going to create a much longer version of it. I'm thinking about 30, 40 minutes, a long, long, long, long time to repeat these affirmations so you can, you know, have them on in the back of your mind, especially if you're doing any kind of healing work with your body, you know, or you know, recovering from any huge self-doubt or any illness or injury, whatever it is, you can have these affirmations playing for 30 or 40 minutes. I'm want to put them over on the Patreon account where I will also put some beautiful music behind the affirmations. You may have noticed if you're a longtime listener, I have stopped putting music behind the affirmations. I would love to be doing that, but I've had a few issues with podcast episodes being taken off Spotify because it's got music and basically podcasts are for words, right? So I'm having a few issues with that, but it is what it is. So I'm gonna keep putting beautiful bird sounds and things that are not technically music, understanding that it's nature's music. If you would like these affirmations to go for longer, and if you would like some beautiful music, beautiful healing music put behind the affirmations, then jump onto Patreon. Go and join me over there, go and show your support for the podcast and me. I appreciate you so deeply for that. When you're ready, repeat the following affirmations out loud or in your mind after me. I love my body. I love my body. My body is my home. My body is my friend. I honor my body's wisdom. I thank my body for carrying me through each day. I soften into the embrace of my own skin. I listen with gentleness to what my body has to say. Each breath I take brings healing to every cell. I give myself permission to rest and receive. I trust my body's natural ability to heal. I trust my body in its journey of growing and evolving. I am learning to be my body's best friend. My body and I listen to each other. I do my best by my body. My body is strong. My body is adaptable. My body is always supporting me. I speak to my body with love and kindness. I speak with my body with compassion. My body deserves patience, presence, and respect. I treat my body as the sacred vessel it is. I am grateful for my body. I am grateful for the sensations, the messages, and experiences my body offers me. I honor the cycles, rhythms, and seasons my body has. My body is deserving of love, tenderness, and care. I allow myself to receive love from my body. I celebrate my body. I meet my body with compassion. I forgive myself for my old patterns. I speak to my body the way I would speak to someone I love. I am safe in my body. I trust my body's wisdom. I trust my heart's guidance. I feel at home within my body. I choose to take care of my body. I honor my body's needs and give myself permission to rest. My body is worthy of the softness and comfort I offer to others. Every breath is an invitation to return to my body with kindness. I love my body. I love my body. I love my body. My body is my home. My body is my friend. I honor my body's wisdom. I thank my body for carrying me through each day.
