Hello, magical human, and welcome back to Madison Mindset the podcast. I am your host, Madison. I'm a yoga teacher, a mindset and spirituality coach, and a complete lover of all things earth, hugging trees, being natural, returning to our roots. I am currently deep in the journey of healing my anxiety. And if you have been listening to this podcast for a while, you know about my experience with anxiety. I would never say it's completely healed. There are still moments, there are still things that I need to do to support myself because I went very deep into anxiety only a few years ago. So now I'm in the journey of healing that. And if you're in a space of anxiety or stress, you're finding yourself overwhelmed and just too much going on, too much in your head, then this is the right space for you. Today we're going to be doing some beautiful affirmations for anxiety. We're going to do five affirmations, quite strong affirmations, and we're going to repeat them multiple times. What I would love for you to be able to do for this episode, if you can turn it into a practice, of course, if you're driving or you're halfway through your day, obviously you don't need to do this, but maybe come back and do it again. Ideally, bare feet on the ground to help lower our heart rate, to stabilize the breathing and to bring down the inflammation in the body. This will help the mind. Ideally, loose clothing so we don't have anything, any tension really wrapped around the body, just nice, relaxed, flowy clothing if possible. And if you can, left hand on the heart space, right hand on the upper belly so you can feel the life that's inside the body. When you're ready, let's jump into these affirmations. Repeat the following words out loud or in your mind after me. I am peace. I am calm. I am releasing any and all tension from my body and mind. I welcome the present moment for exactly what it is.
