Hello Magical Human and welcome back to Madison Mindset, the podcast. In this episode we are diving into the last episode in our Chakra series. I hope you've enjoyed the series. There are six previous episodes, so if you haven't already joined the rest of them, or if you're just jumping into this one now, know that there are six others that have previously been released, so go and jump into those. You'll learn a lot over there. This episode was originally recorded for Held, the podcast, which is an online women's circle I host with my beautiful friend Molly. If you would like to listen to that podcast or connect with Molly, those details are below in the show notes. If you would like to take this crown chakra episode into practice, join me on Patreon where we will go through a beautiful practice for crown chakra, for balancing this space and for getting to know it on a deeper level. I'll see you over there. Enjoy this episode. Let's jump in.
Speaker 2:Hi everyone and welcome back to another episode of Held. We do apologize that we have been a little bit sporadic with episodes lately. We've just had some stuff going on, but we'll be updating you very shortly with all of that. But today we're coming back with our chakra series and we're diving into the last chakra, which is the crown chakra. Am I right? I'm right.
Speaker 1:You're right.
Speaker 2:You're right. Yes, hi, maddie, hello Maddie, how are you? Doing. I'm really good. Maddie and I had a really beautiful conversation earlier this morning. We were actually supposed to record an episode earlier today and we ended up just having a really beautiful chat, which was really needed, and it feels beautiful, I feel like we had a really raw, honest conversation. You know, sometimes friendships just need those sort of what would you say it needs. Sometimes friendships need a little bit of love injected through conversation.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, definitely, definitely I've. I've also learned that, like relationships, no matter what the kind is, no matter the relationship it's, it takes work. You know, like you're never gonna, you know there's no relationship, no true relationship, that's just going to be cruisy. You know you have to. You have to put effort into the person. So you've got to. I don't know. Lately I've just been working out like who's important to me and who is worth putting that effort in for, and I'm like the few people in my life who are definitely like, really important to me. I'm like we've got to put this effort in and like clear the air and have conversations and make sure that you know you're showing up for that person in the right way and vice versa. Otherwise it just starts to you just start to build this weird like. Muz calls it resentment and he's like if you hold on to stuff, I say, I would say it's resentment.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you end up that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I would love to know before we get into the chakra episode as well is because earlier in that conversation, like I said as well to you afterwards, I was like the way you just showed up in that and are just so like open and honest and like also, though, willing to receive anything that someone might pick up on within you, that was like really how do you say it? Admirable, admirable, and I'm like I want to be more like that in all of my relationships as well Friendships, you know, romantic relationships, family relationships and so would there be a top tip or like a top, something that you would say has helped you get to where you are today in regards to those sorts of conversations and receiving that feedback and in relationship?
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, it's interesting. It's interesting that you bring it up because I've had a lot of difficult conversations with Mars recently. Just nothing, nothing big, but just little things. When you, you know, you say something or you're in a certain energy and your partner picks up on it, and just those little spats in a relationship that are bound to happen. I've had a lot of those recently and I think that's really helped me, because Maz is really good at hearing me when I'm upset about something and it made me feel the way you feel of like, oh, I wish I could just receive what you're saying without you know, feeling like I need to defend myself or kind of like put in a little bit more like fiery energy. So I've kind of been taking inspiration off him and just being like you know what is the person in front of you, someone that you value a lot? You know like, do you want to keep this person in your life? Because if you can just take a moment when someone's talking to you, if you can just allow yourself to sit in silence and just listen, and then just inside of you like I often personally I feel like I want to call it my ego I can feel my ego, like getting mad and being like this is bullshit, you're not fucking right, you know.
Speaker 1:Like that didn't even happen, you're fucking nuts, like, fucking, like. I can feel that rise in me and I just force myself to stay quiet while the other person's talking. Or I'll even say sometimes, like if mother's not talking, I'll be, like I just need a second, because I know that if I open my mouth I'm gonna come out aggressive or defensive. So I'm like you know what? I just literally take a moment with myself and I remind myself that the person in front of me is someone I don't want to lose. I don't want to tank this relationship by throwing my ego and self-defense system at them, because that is so damaging, because he's not going to feel heard, not going to feel loved, not going to feel seen, and that's going to create this feeling of unsafety in the relationship. And I was like I don't want that. So I need to just listen and even if the person in front of you is saying something you don't agree with or you're like, no, you're wrong, you still like they're right about how they feel.
Speaker 1:At the end of the day, you know, it may have not happened in the way that they're talking or you might have your side, but they still feel the way they feel. So for me, I just take a moment and just take a breath and go. This person's important to me. This is how they feel. They're being honest with me. They're not lying about that, so I just have to acknowledge how they feel. You know you don't have to defend everything. Just look at how they feel and go okay, I can see how that might've made you feel uncomfortable or might've made you feel sad or might've made you feel a bit weird. I can completely see your side and when you affirm the other person's side and emotions, you can see it in their face. They're like oh, it's kind of like relief, like oh, okay, you know they understand why I feel that way.
Speaker 2:That's exactly what I felt, yeah, and that's exactly what I felt this morning. But then it like inspires me because I'm like, wow, that's why I wanted to ask you this question, cause I'm like I want to take that moving forwards and implement that into my relationships, cause that was just so beautiful, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Well, that's what I'd recommend I love you and the words I'd recommend. So you, this is what works for me. Everyone listening like you might need to come up with a different formula, but listen, make yourself listen. Do not interrupt them, because when people feel interrupted, they start to get more aggressive because they need to get their point across. So don't interrupt or you'll just start a fire.
Speaker 1:So just listen, notice how you want to defend yourself and take notes in your head. Be like yep, I want to bring up this point, this point is valid, yep, yep, but stay quiet. And then, if you need a second, tell them you need a second, otherwise they'll think you're ignoring them or, you know, giving them the silent treatment, and that's another stirrer. So tell them I just need a second if you need one. And then literally affirm in your head this person is so important to me, it is worth coming at this with love. So then you need to affirm how they feel, say, yes, I see how you feel, I acknowledge it, I'm listening and that's completely fair enough that you feel that way. So make them feel seen. And then say you know, this is what actually happened on my side.
Speaker 1:So once you've affirmed how they feel, then they'll be more willing to listen to your side. So say, yes, I completely understand how you would feel that way, but just so you know, this is what was happening for me. And then they get to hear your side, and then they'll be willing to go oh, oh, okay, I see how I see, I see your side, and then you need to affirm what you'll do next time. Okay, so if you've upset someone in some way, you need to then go okay, well, to avoid this in the future, maybe I can, you know, like with Molly this morning, I was like, maybe next time I can just be a little bit better at communicating and not, you know, leave you in the dark on certain things so that you have the full picture. And then you go, oh, okay, and then you just work it out.
Speaker 1:That's the way I do it and it works, but I definitely do feel that need to like oh, this is so hard. Yeah, absolutely, for some people you love, it's worth it. You have to be able to just listen and say, yes, I can see that, but it's some of the hardest times in your life doing that everyone. I'm still struggling with it, but it makes your relationship so much stronger absolutely yeah, it feels good after, but you have to.
Speaker 2:I'm I'm so excited to implement this. You know I'm gonna have to take, take a cut of what you just said and fucking play it on repeat. Make it your ringtone. I love it, I love it, I love it. Oh my Okay, before we get into the crown chakra cycle check-in, we've both just discovered we are both on day five which is a held first.
Speaker 2:Yeah, this is a first. This is a first, so we're very excited about that. I'm feeling really good, very good actually. The energy is picking up and we're going into inner spring. My current lesson is exactly what we just spoke about. That is a huge lesson and I'm really excited to carry that forward into relationships. And a current blessing is exactly what we just spoke about, again, because I'm going to carry that forward into relationships. I'm like that's just a huge lesson and blessing in one, and also for the beautiful conversation we had this morning.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's beautiful.
Speaker 1:Hey, yes, day five. I feel really good, I think, since I've been taking my iron people seriously, my cycle is way better. It actually shocked me. I got it and I was like that's early, but it was day 31. It wasn't early, but it was it wasn't early, but that's good for you. That's early for you, so day five.
Speaker 2:I was just thinking, when we first met, we were in sync Really. Oh, we were right at the start.
Speaker 1:I don't know if we were day to day, but we were like follicular ovulation. We were there together and then I think my iron levels dropped a bit and I dropped out. But isn't it funny that we were in sync and when we created Held, fell out of sync and now come back into sync, like nearly a year later that?
Speaker 2:is crazy to think about. Yeah, yeah, like exactly a year.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Next month. That's crazy. Yeah, it is nuts.
Speaker 1:Anyway, my lesson and blessings definitely what we just spoke about as well. I'm learning that hardcore, as I said, like oh God, the amount of conversations I had with Maz last week. Seriously, I was just like, oh my, like it really really frustrating, but I got lots of practice out of it. I suppose you could say so yeah, definitely so valuable. And my blessing is you, molly, like, for nourishing this friendship and women coming back together. You know, like I think I've shared before I've had a lot of relationships with women that have come and gone very dramatically and it feels quite horrible and I don't want to be in that kind of cycle and I can see now where I may have gone wrong in the past. Or you know we the past, or you know we collectively went wrong. You know me and previous friends and things, and I'm really glad that we can use challenges in friendships to meet each other and rise instead of just tear the fricking thing down. You know, I think that has a lot of value.
Speaker 2:Absolutely, absolutely, and that's why we created Held in the first place as well, and it's like there was always going to get to a point. Well, we've had, you know, I think we've had like two little tiny things in our friendship where, you know, we've had to have a conversation about something. But that's human as well, like that's part of friendship, it's part of any relationship, and the more we normalise it and speak about it, the more we normalise it and everyone can feel like they relate more.
Speaker 1:So, yeah, and actually for anyone who struggles in romantic relationships in particular. But when I was having these chats with Muz, I thought a part of me was like, oh my God, he's going to leave me because this is too hard. You know, I was like he's going to leave me because this is too hard and I brought that up to him and he was like he literally said to me, maddie, like and where would I go? I've found someone who's almost perfect for me, you know. And like, where am I going to go? Like whoever I find? There's going to be these issues again. You know, like it really, you can keep jumping from relationship to relationship, from friendship to friendship, but you're never going to find someone that you never have any kind of issue with. Like I mean the amount of fights you have with your family alone you know like you just have to.
Speaker 1:You have to treat people like family, keep coming back to them. Even, you know, even though it gets hard, it doesn't mean you have ruined anything. It doesn't mean you need to tear it all down and start again. Okay, so that really helped me with, you know, mum saying, look, this is going to happen wherever I go. So you know we've put a lot of work into this. You know, let's keep moving and I'm like, yeah, that's beautiful. So I think, for anyone who struggles with you know, feeling like you have to be perfect in a relationship or they're going to leave, seriously, where are they going to go? There's always going to be those issues. So just see them and make it make you stronger, instead of making it something that gives you a reason to run. You know, within reason, obviously, there's some reasons you leave, but silly little spats, work it out and rise. You know how we do this. That on chakra, let's let's get into it.
Speaker 2:Let's get into the crown chakra okay, everyone jumping into crown chakra.
Speaker 1:We have now got a collection of seven chakras for you to listen to, so I would recommend listening to them one after the other, but after you've done, you can definitely just jump back and forth and re-listen to the practices and to things that feel relevant for you. You know, depending on what's going on, what chakra you're currently working on. So crown chakra is located at the crown of the head, the very top of the head or cerebral cortex, I believe.
Speaker 2:That's a very scientific word and I will not be repeating it.
Speaker 1:So I hope I said that right I don't know definitely more to the spiritual.
Speaker 1:I know, I know cerebral, I said it, yeah. So the crown chakra is directly above third eye. So third eye and crown often get mixed around a little bit. They kind of get blurred into one if people don't completely understand. So third eye and crown are both spiritual-based chakras, but third eye where the difference lies. Third eye is intuition seeing clearly on this plane, potentially higher planes. Crown chakra you can liken to spiritual awakening, okay. So if you are, yeah, yeah, so if you can imagine the chakra system as being your rainbow bridge, okay, it's often referred to as the rainbow bridge.
Speaker 1:The first three chakras are about your physical body and they connect you to the earth. So if you picture just standing on the ground for a moment, imagine all those chakras and a light shining down through the earth. So the root chakra, through the soles of the feet, down through the ground. So those three chakras anchor you to your physical body. They anchor you to the planet. They are what you can see.
Speaker 1:When you look at someone, their physical form, you're looking at the physical base, base, your heart chakra is a hybrid. It's half physical, half spiritual. It's a doorway between the physical and the spiritual. So it's what brings them together. So many times you'll find people are way too much in their physical. They don't focus at all on spirituality or higher you know, higher self or self-growth, or thinking about life. You know, reflecting, pondering, you know about what life means. They don't do any of that, they're very physical. I often will picture like a middle-aged dad when I kind of think of that. You know, just kind of like you know in their physical. Or you've got people who are too spiritual. They've disassociated with the body. You know they're born in the wrong place, they're from a different you know. They're just completely disconnected to the fact that they are anchored in a human body. So the heart brings that love and compassion brings them together. Okay, love is always something that brings you together, including your chakra system. So it brings the spiritual self and the physical self into each other. It holds it together. It's held together by love. Okay. So the higher chakras you can picture from throat up. You can picture from the crown of your head a light straight up into the heavens, into the universe. Okay, so once you've got that, when you've got all the chakras in alignment and there's no blockages in any area, they're all spinning at the correct frequency what happens is. You create the rainbow bridge, so you have a light that goes down through the feet and a light that goes up through the heavens.
Speaker 1:That is a human being, a spiritual being. You know this bit of consciousness that has dropped into an earth-made physical form for a temporary lifetime. That is spiritual awakening, when you realize I am not the body, but I am in a body. I am observing life on earth to evolve my consciousness, to essentially evolve life, the universe, the greater consciousness. So we're talking about spiritual awakening here.
Speaker 1:This is also where you may bring in a religion, a faith, a god, a goddess. You know and this is very personal what religion you want to you feel called towards, or whether you know Buddhism, or if you don't believe in anything like that and you just want to you feel called towards, or whether you know buddhism, or if you don't believe in anything like that and you just want to say life or universe or the nature of life. Whatever you choose your word, it doesn't matter. What we're looking at here is having faith in a higher reason, that you're here, not just to you know, move around in life and go through all these troubles and then eventually get sick and die. You're here for just to. You know, move around in life and go through all these troubles and then eventually get sick and die. You're here for a greater purpose.
Speaker 1:You know human beings thrive off hope and faith. We need that. When you lose your hope, when you lose your purpose, when you lose your reason, it's very easy to lie in bed all day and just go. What's the point? You know. This is why you can't live forever as well, because if you could live forever, who would get out of bed? I wouldn't have gotten out of bed this morning and do it next decade. You know whatever.
Speaker 1:So you know it gives you a reason to get up. It gives you a reason to show up. So you need to have some kind of faith in something you know. And if you don't feel like you have that, find something Some people have faith in, just in love, just in the love of the world, or in the good in people, or maybe it's something that happens after death that you really resonate with, or maybe you're leaning more towards Buddhism and karma, and maybe, whatever it is, find something to have real faith in. It doesn't have to be everything, because we're essentially talking about the same thing. You know we're talking about the same thing using different words. So find whatever works for you and develop some kind of faith, reason, because that is what's going to keep you going, that is what's going to help you when you get sick for no apparent reason. You did your best not to get sick, but you got sick anyway. That's going to be the thing that gives you faith and reason to believe that there's a reason and it's all working out.
Speaker 1:You know, it's very easy to fall into why me? Victim stance when you don't have a real belief into what's happening in life. So ponder what is life. Reflect, you know. Sit down. This is what meditation is for, essentially is to help you awaken spiritually. So sit and reflect and remember. You know we're here.
Speaker 1:You know, I think the best description I've ever heard of you know, consciousness is you are literally a soul or a drop of consciousness that has chosen to forget who it is, to forget the peace of life, the infinite love, the joy of life. It's chosen to forget who it is, to drop into a human body, to remember again, to awaken, and going through that purpose makes it stronger and more awakened, more enlightened. To keep re-remembering, remembering, remembering. You know so the crown chakra is a magical point, you know, and it is a point that you can connect with through faith, meditation, belief, okay, if you can also picture. You know I've heard really interesting things about you know, when people are conceived, you know when the physical body is made, okay, there's a moment where the soul drops into the body.
Speaker 1:Now, there's a few different beliefs on when that happens. You know, some people think it's instantly and you know personally, I think it will determine, like it really is up to the soul that chooses you to be their parent. You know the whenever whoever chooses you, whenever, that is OK. So it might be immediately. And some women feel that especially, they feel that soul drop in immediately.
Speaker 1:Sometimes it's, you know, halfway through the pregnancy and sometimes it's literally upon birth, and I think that's my favorite um description of it, that the pain of um giving birth is literally root and crown, your own root and crown.
Speaker 1:So the root chakra has to do the the birth. So physical pain is there, but then you've also got the rest of the body. People feel like women will feel pain all the way up their spine and like all over their body. And if you're feeling that there might be a chance and I really like this, so I'm going to share it there might be a chance that there is a soul dropping in from your crown, traveling down through your chakra system and finally into the child. So the whole process of birth is literally a magical being being created inside of a womb. It's amazing, yeah. So whenever that drops in, and then it's the reverse with death, okay, so they come together. If you picture a root and crown chakra coming together at birth and then at death, they part ways. So crown will go back up, taking the soul, and earth will go down, taking the body. Okay, so that's what death is essentially.
Speaker 2:I like that. I really like that explanation. Like I feel like when I've sort of thought about life and death and all of that, like that, what you just said resonates with me, Like I can see the truth in that, Whereas, like you know, sometimes you hear things and you're like nah, that doesn't feel right for me. That is powerful.
Speaker 1:I like it. Beautiful. Oh, I'm so glad. I'm so glad it resonated. So I've written down some things here that can be signs of a blocked crown chakra, remembering that this is where it gets a little bit complicated, because if your root chakra is out right now, your crown chakra has nothing to stand on. So if your root chakra is out, whole seven are out so it's important for everyone.
Speaker 2:If they want to have an open or balanced crown chakra, they need to go back and listen to all the chakra episodes yeah, yeah, that's why I keep saying it like a broken record.
Speaker 1:Everybody, you're like oh here she goes again on the go and listen to it all. I mean it. I mean it. Just think about this right If your, if your root chakra, so your physical safety is off your physical vessel, your is essentially not stable, okay, so, the drop of consciousness, yeah, the drop of consciousness that is being held in a vessel.
Speaker 1:If there's a hole in the bottom of this vessel, if this vessel has a crack in it, if it's shaky, if it's not solid, you've got nowhere to hold the essence of considering what life might mean. You, you know, to hold love, to hold all that, you can't do it. You know, what Molly and I were talking about earlier is throat chakra and heart communication, you know, and even solar plexus. But the both of us have done a lot of self-work in order to get here. If we were both unstable on root chakra, there's no way we could have had a conversation that was open and honest and happy to hear the other person and happy to put our ego down and grow together. We wouldn't have been able to do that because we're completely off. Okay, so where we were working on those higher chakras, so, and then you feel so much better after those conversations because the chakras come back into balance and now you start to feel, oh, life is peaceful, you know, because everything comes back in. Okay. So here's some of the signs of a blocked crown chakra feeling disconnected in the world, so kind of like feeling like you don't have any hope or any. You know reason or purpose or you don't really have. Like what's going on? You very, very kind of disassociated with life and just like, what are we doing? You're just going day by day. Every day is the same, oh, I don't know. So just in that kind of energy.
Speaker 1:If you have difficulty meditating, this is a really big sign of crown chakra, because the whole point of it is to sit, still, be in silence, so that you can create space to listen and really feel the peace that is inside of you, that little bit of consciousness. You can only connect with that in stillness and silence, especially in the beginning. It gets easier. As you've done a little bit more meditation, you might find you can sit with it on a daily, moment to moment basis, but in the beginning, no way you have to create stillness and silence in order to hear it. It's so subtle and we're so distracted by everything that's going on. So if you have trouble meditating, this is a sign that crown chakra is a little bit off. So you've got to give yourself a reason and show up for your meditation practice.
Speaker 2:And if you have trouble meditating, try and tie in some just some short breath work techniques prior to meditating because that'll help you, like scientifically, slow down the brainwave state so you're better able to drop into that meditative state. So you can just look up like a quick five minute breath work practice on YouTube or something and that will help you drop into meditation or even just take 10 really slow mindful breaths into the belly. Counting in for a count of five and out for a count of five is a great way to get your heart, brain and other and your heart, your heart, your brain and other organs in sync with each other too.
Speaker 1:Yeah, beautiful, yeah, that's so, so good. There's definitely like, yeah, you can help yourself, but yeah, it's definitely a big sign that you're just kind of not connected. Yeah, any kind of sleep disturbances and yeah, if you struggle to sleep, to get to sleep, to stay asleep, and you have like crazy vivid dreams. So third chakra is very active and kind of sporadic. This is a sign that it's just probably overactive in that space. Um, you know, sleep should be very nourishing, deep, peaceful. Shouldn't even know it happened. You know there's nothing wrong with dreams and there is an element of intuition within them, but ideally we want calm in sleep. So if things are very hyperactive on a third eye and crown level, then you're going to have these crazy vivid dreams of just nonsense.
Speaker 2:So yeah, that's a big sign. I've been having crazy vivid dreams in my cycle up until I get my period, up until I'm bleeding, and then I sleep super well. So I'm like that's interesting.
Speaker 1:On the reverse Like I've had crazy dreams the last couple nights, in the last couple days of the bleed.
Speaker 2:See I feel like that would make more sense with the bleed, because it's like that time where your intuition is heightened and stuff um, whereas mine's the opposite, and it's like to the point where it's like making me tired, making me feel a bit icky.
Speaker 1:So I'm gonna look into that, yeah there's also because I've also got here, like headaches, bare physical manifestations of these blockages and can you get a few headaches like a little while ago I do get.
Speaker 2:I'm still getting them now, yeah, yeah yeah, and lack of spiritual awareness.
Speaker 1:So feeling stuck or completely disconnected to a higher self and in that particular one, it's very easy to identify that in others. So I can identify that in people around me. Like, oh, the lack of spiritual awareness, you know, you can see it in others but you can't really see it in yourself. So, yeah, if there's any ego, if there's any anger at all in your life, these are pretty big signs of lack of spiritual awareness and signs of balance, crown chakra, the reverse spiritual awareness. Right, you've got a strong sense of purpose and a connection to your body, to others, to life. You feel very secure in living a human life as what it is, as just raw as it is. You know, just for why we're here. Well, the fact that, okay, I'm a little bit of consciousness in a human body for a while, interesting, what am I going to do with that? You know, and just kind of being really grounded in that and going, okay, that's that's me, that's okay. Um, great intuition in a guidance, really, really strong. So, if you're, you know, low key predicting things, you know I never try to predict things, but little things. I'm like I'll think of a person that I haven't seen for a while and they'll appear and I'm like, hmm, that's interesting. You know just little things like that. If you find these little synchronicities and little moments of huh, I think I knew that. Yeah, that's a great sign that everything's kind of aligning really beautifully. You experience a lot of peace and inner calm. You're just, you're quite happy, you're joyful on a day-to-day basis pretty consistently. You know you go through periods. Obviously you have a little bit of sadness or whatever it is as you experience life, but you're mostly just feeling good, coasting along, things are good. You have an increased sense of compassion and empathy, you know, and the reason that happens is because you become aware of what life is and you see people around you who maybe aren't aware or struggling, trying to remember who they are, because that's what we signed up to do is to forget who we are, to struggle to remember. So you see people struggling or having a hard time and instead of feeling frustrated with them, you have a sense of compassion and you understand. You know that the struggle is, it's hard and it's real, so it's big. And the last one being open to new ideas, you know if you're really excited to create and play and, you know, think up new things and, you know, really bring things into the world. That's, you know, that's creativity birthing, bringing something in An idea is similar to your soul in a sense that it has a little mind of its own and it drops in through crown down to third and then you do something with it or not. So if you're really open to new ideas and you're running with them and feeling grounded, that's a great sign as well. So, yeah, crown chakra is beautiful and the ways to balance, as I mentioned, meditation Yoga has some really great grounds in terms of chakra balancing.
Speaker 1:As I mentioned, every class that you do will bring all the chakras into balance. It is each posture has a place within the chakras. It's a very integrated system. So yoga really helps. Any kind that you really enjoy and any kind of inversion, getting upside down great for crown chakra to kind of send the energy back the other way. Yeah, so headstand downward, dog handstand, any of that kind of stuff, even just legs up the wall. That's why it's so calming to go. When you are trying to go to sleep, you do legs up the wall for a little bit. It calms things down, brings that sense of serenity in. So that helps Nature. Nature always helps and in fact it helps every chakra. So just do it.
Speaker 1:Mindful breathing is one of them, which Molly brought up before Creative expression. So allow yourself to play and enjoy new ideas and to experience life. Try not to let yourself get stuck in the same routine daily, like the same drive to work the same. You know the same. This the same, that same foods. You're the same. Try and mix it up. Take a different route. You know a different way. Open up the space for the unknown, even as simple as if you brush your teeth with the right hand, switch to the left.
Speaker 2:You literally just read my mind. I've just recently started reading Dr Joe Dispenza's book called Is it Becoming Supernatural? What's?
Speaker 1:it called Supernatural, something like that. I know the cover.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Literally everyone. If you're finding this episode interesting and you also like the science behind things, you need to read that book. It's so good. Yeah, so, so good, yeah, and that's one thing he says about, like you know, changing up, driving a different way to work, um, brushing your teeth with a different hand, like just doing things differently creates space for new things to come in the unknown, to come in those downloads to drop in.
Speaker 1:You know, it's really beautiful yeah, you gotta play the same with. Like you know how, when you look at babies and you give them a leaf, yeah, they're fascinated by the leaf. You know, they're like looking at it, turning it around, feeling out what it feels like, what it tastes like, what it crunches, like like they are like really interested in the world around them. And at some point in our adult life we start to look at everything like we already know what it is, we already know what it is, we already know what it is. And then we get stuck in our beliefs and the way we see the world and we imagine that's the right way. So this is where you start to get spiritually stuck. Okay, so you have to keep playing, you have to keep experimenting and wondering and if you hear an opinion that you don't agree with, go. Wow, I wonder how they, how they believe that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know and research find out.
Speaker 1:Yeah, don't dismiss stuff because you think you already know it or you know it's already wrong. You know, be open to learning, have that childlike sense of curiosity and yeah it, it helps. I love that. Excellent. That's it. That's crown chakra everybody, and that is seven chakras. I hope you enjoyed it. Oh, oh, my gosh.
Speaker 2:I absolutely loved it. I loved the series. I've learned so much and I just love how every chakra we went through. I would like remember something from the last one and I'd be like, oh, that's why you've got to balance out that, so then that can come through and I just think it's so beautiful. And, yeah, we've got for the held practice. We've got some journal prompts again which we will put down below. There's ones around spiritual connection and trust, surrender and trusting the unknown, and presence and stillness. So make sure you check out the show notes and take some time to journal on those or even just ponder them as well. So, so powerful. I've loved this series. Excellent, me too. It's been so much fun, so good. I've learned so much. You're so clever and I love your way of explaining things.
Speaker 1:Thanks, molly, I appreciate it, I love it.
Speaker 2:I love explaining it, my pleasure darling, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
Speaker 1:I think I've said that every episode but thank you. I love it. I love it, it's great thanks everybody.
Speaker 2:Yeah, thank you for tuning in, and if you found these chakra episodes insightful, then make sure you share them with someone, because they will definitely help everyone, not just women. So thank you, and thank you for tuning in everyone thanks everyone.
