Hello Magical Human and welcome back to Madison Mindset, the podcast. In this episode we are going to go through some beautiful affirmations for self-love, inspired very much by Valentine's Day, which it is today. So, no matter where you are, no matter what your life looks like right now, I believe Valentine's Day is for you. I don't believe it is for couples necessarily, although that is beautiful, you know, lovely to really focus on loving and showing your appreciation for your partner. But I think it's better to just celebrate love in general, you know, talking about the love you have for your family and for your friends and for your job, and for yourself and for your body and for everyone. You know. Really look to love all on this day, particularly yourself, because your own self-love is going to reflect the amount of love you receive back from other people and it will also reflect your ability to show love and care for others.
Speaker 1:So, on that note, we're going to go through some beautiful self-love Valentine's affirmations. You can do these in meditation form as part of a self-love practice. You can just simply have them playing around on any day just to welcome that loving energy. Or you could even repeat them with your family, with your kids, with your loved one, whoever you'd like to join and do these affirmations with. Completely up to you. Let's take a moment to settle in the space, lifting the corners of the mouth slightly into a slight smile, being aware of the chest space, heart chakra, allowing a warm sensation, a loving sensation to fill the center of your chest, repeating the following affirmations out loud or in your mind after me, I am love, I am loved, I am capable of giving and receiving love. I love myself, I respect myself. I respect myself, I love and respect the people in my life. I am kind to myself. I am kind to others.

Keep showing this love to yourself, keep working on loving yourself and go out there today and choose to show somebody that they're loved. I appreciate you.
